Capture, lyse,

The patch carries the Omni-Matrix™ K105 polymer matrix, engineered into a skin-contact format. On contact it captures surface-borne cells, lyses them in place, and immobilizes the released DNA — intact, dry, and room-stable until the lab elutes it.

Skin-contact capture

The adhesive matrix lifts epidermal and sweat-borne cells — corneocytes and surface-associated cells — from intact skin. No abrasion, no needle, no blood, no swabs.

In-situ lysis

Captured cells are lysed where they sit, releasing genomic DNA directly into the polymer network — no separate extraction step at the point of collection.

Matrix stabilization

Released DNA is entrapped and immobilized in the K105 matrix, shielded from nucleases and oxidation — intact, dry, and stable at room temperature.

Lab-ready elution

At the lab, punch and elute into standard buffers for any downstream STR, SNP, array, or whole-genome sequencing workflow.
